Welcome to the Oncology Interest Group’s Website!

Caring for patients with cancer is a rewarding opportunity that straddles cutting-edge research findings, challenging ethical decision making, and satisfying physician-patient connection. Therefore, the Oncology Interest Group hopes to shine light on the career options available in oncology. The group will organize speaker series to share the lived experience of working with adult or pediatric patients as a surgical oncologist, a medical oncologist, a radiation oncologist, or a generalist with an interest in oncology. As well, the group will serve as a forum for students to network with others who share a similar passion for oncology.
